Overview

You can set different return fees for each region where you ship and sell. This helps you manage local return costs fairly, especially when shipping across borders.

For example:

• $14 CAD for returns in Canada
• $10 USD for returns in the United States
• £5 GBP for returns in the United Kingdom
• $12 AUD for returns in Australia
  
  

This ensures shoppers see return fees that reflect your actual logistics costs in their region.

How It Works

ReturnBear’s platform supports per-region return fees. These fees are configured at the store level and automatically applied when a customer initiates a return.

• Fees are charged in the order’s original currency.
  
  
• You can set one fee per region (based on the order’s origin country).
  
  
• There is no fallback fee, each active region must have its own fee configured.
  
  

How to Set Up Regional Fees

At this time, per-region return fees must be configured by the ReturnBear team. If you’d like to set up or update your regional fees, please reach out to Merchant Success or support@returnbear.com with the following details:

1. The list of regions (country codes) you’d like to configure — for example:
   
   

   • CA (Canada)

   • US (United States)

   • GB (United Kingdom)

   • AU (Australia)
     
     

2. The return fee amount for each region in local currency.

   • Example:

     • CA = $14 CAD

     • US = $10 USD

     • GB = £5 GBP

     • AU = $12 AUD
       
       

Once submitted, the team will confirm when your configuration has been updated and is live in your ReturnBear Admin.
